Northeast Agricultural University

Agriculture science is one of the studies firstly developed in our university. We are trying to train talents who can do perfectly in agricultural modernization research. Our faculty is specialized in genetic breeding, cultivation and tillage of rice, corn, soybean, wheat, potatoes and cereals and other crops grow in cold zone.

We are the one traditional university offering agricultural courses for those who seek to work in the agricultural industries in China. Currently, the undergraduate course consists of three departments: Department of Agriculture Science, Department of Plant Pathology and Department of Seed Science and Engineering. For graduates, we provide the courses of plant pathology. Doctoral and post-doctoral programs are focused on crop science.

Students can study a wide range of topics, including modern agriculture, plant biotechnology, plant pathology and seeds management. Our strong research developments and outstanding faculty provide fundamental theories in agricultural science, practical skills and science ethics.

We have 101 full-time teachers, 28 researchers and 75 had received Doctorate degree. Also our teaching staffs are from prestigious background or with distinguished academic reputations.

Our school offers well-equipped laboratories for academic research on soybean biology, pest control, plants cultivation of northeastern regions.
